FUCK YEAH FOREIGN LANGUAGE MAJORS | I’m from California but don’t consider myself american. I am a son of the world. I speak English and Spanish, and i’m nearly fluent in German. I also want to learn Finnish(Crazy, I know, 15 bloody cases), Russian, Lithuanian(i’m 1/4 Litvak, so I feel I need to), Swedish, Norwegian, perhaps Danish, maybe a little Dutch, Italian, Romanian, Gaelic, Welsh, and maybe enough to get around in Greek. this is obviously before I die, not before I end college. I pick up the pronunciation fast, but i suck ass at grammar rules. Like, If you teach me the right way to say ____, i’ll do it, but don’t ask me to diagram sentences or rephrase them to use the substantive verb or anything. I’m a Germanic studies minor at my University right now(Creative Writing Major), I’d have taken a double minor and done Russian as well, but I don’t have enough time to!
